University of Hawaiʻi – West Oʻahu
Building the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
Who We Are
Cyber Force One began with a group of driven students who came together during a Cyber Competition course at the University of Hawaiʻi – West Oʻahu.
After a semester of collaboration, late nights, and sharpening skills, our team placed 8th in the nation.
But what stayed with us wasn't just the result, it was the experience: solving real-world problems, working under pressure, learning from one another, and building something together as a team.
In 2024, there were no active student clubs at UH West Oʻahu focused specifically on cybersecurity. As underclassmen, we wanted more opportunities to develop our skills, find mentorship, compete, and continue learning outside the classroom.
So we created Cyber Force One.
Our vision is to create a community where students can connect, compete, and grow beyond the classroom while pushing their cybersecurity skills to the next level.
Our Purpose
Cyber Force One exists to create opportunities for UH West Oʻahu students to develop cybersecurity skills, build meaningful connections, and grow beyond the classroom.
Build relationships with fellow students, mentors, and cybersecurity professionals.
Challenge yourself through competitions, collaborative problem solving, and hands-on experiences.
Develop the skills, experience, and confidence to take your next step in cybersecurity.
